AD Barnes Park Reconstruction
AD Barnes Park is a sixty-five (65)-acre recreational facility nestled in south Miami-Dade County. MARLIN provided pre-construction permitting, engineering design, and construction administration services.
In coordination with the Miami-Dade Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources (DRER), MARLIN provided site work permitting and sewer calculations for water quality and quantity determinations, and self-contained exfiltration trench lengths to compensate for water quality and quantity volume, as well as, site grading to eliminate standing water. Engineering services included right-of-way planning, analysis, and acquisition; asphalt trailheads and spur trails; road-crossing signalization; information kiosks; pedestrian, bicycle, and equestrian bridges; piers; landscaping; lighting; utilities; parking surfaces; shelters and site furnishings.
Construction administration services for this project included bidding and contractor selection assistance, shop drawing, request for payment, quantity verification, and weekly contractor/client meetings.
