Miami Intermodal Center Inspections

MARLIN managed an emergency preparedness exercise for the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) Central Station. The purpose of the project was to conduct an emergency simulation designed to meet SFTRA mandates under 49 Code of Federal Regulations, part 239.103 Passenger train emergency simulations, and meet Miami Dade Transit’s (MDT) requirements under the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Safety and Security Oversight Program Fixed Guideway Transportation Systems (SSO) part 2.1.2.

MARLIN provided planning, scenario development, regulatory compliance, coordination, and safety services. Coordination was required between SFRTA, Miami Dade Transit (MDT), Miami Dade Fire Rescue, Miami Dade Airport, Greyhound Bus, and FDOT District 6. All goals of the project were met without incident.
